Overview
Dr. Melissa Parkinson is an infectious disease specialist and assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Infectious Disease. Her clinical interests include the management of people living with HIV/AIDS and related infections, tropical and travel medicine, and migrant health. Her research interests include the interaction between social determinants of health and infection as well as migrant health. She also has an interest in medical education. She is board certified in infectious disease, internal medicine, and pediatrics and has a Diploma of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.
